Actress Sobhita Dhulipala and Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya’s dating rumours have been making the headlines for many months now. From his rocky divorce with Samantha Ruth Prabhu to the speculations of him dating Dhulipala, he has always preferred to maintain silence on the matter. Well, having denied being in a relationship both the actors are reportedly set to get engaged on Thursday evening, i.e. August 8, 2024. A recent report by the Hindustan Times has also confirmed the same.

The HT report has quoted a source close to Chaitanya and stated that the private engagement ceremony will be hosted at Nagarjuna’s house. The source said, “Yes, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting engaged on Thursday evening. The ceremony will be a very private and intimate one and will take place at Nagarjuna’s home in the evening. For those who don’t know, Nagarjuna and his family have a luxurious home in Jubilee Hills, an upscale location in Hyderabad. Spread over more than 4000 sq. ft., fans often visit the area to catch a glimpse of the superstar and his family.
The Hindustan Times report also adds that the 37-year-old actor, who is currently shooting for Thandel, co-starring Sai Pallavi, shooting schedule for August 8 has been cancelled. He is expected to join the shooting on Friday.
Talking about Chay and Samantha, they tied the knot in 2017 in Goa, leaving their fans excited. The glimpses of their beautiful wedding had taken the internet by storm as they were one of the most-loved couples in the Telugu entertainment industry. While the reason for their separation is yet to be known, there have been a lot of speculations surrounding it.
